When you were generous enough to allow me a sneak peek into this, I was expecting it to have some content for sure, but nothing like this.
You have a great teaching style and make it super simple for anyone of any level to jump on this.
The mods are packed and I LOVE the summary section you provide below each video….makes for very easy access when you need to go back and review.
Thanks for all the relative links you provide, and especially your Closing The Deal and Upsell Strategiessections!
I'm not going to go into major detail because there's no reason to spill this method. It is wise investment for anyone involved in offline at all.
The proceeds are going to a much needed cause. You are a super guy for looking out for your fellow neighbors on this planet.
Way to go Dez….you hit a homer with this one!
You can tell who is genuinely working "in the trenches". If you take a look at some of Dez's posts in othersWSO's you will see that he ask searching questions of the product owners, and lots of little tips n tricks in other posts.
And, if you know someone is walking the walk, you can be sure that the strategies shared are tried and tested.
And these strategies are VERY cool. Not only are the leads Red Hot, but they'rereally FRESH too!
So couple the lead gen strategies with Dez's follow up training and you're on a sure fire winner.
Apparently this is Dez's first WSO… It's put together beautifully, like a seasoned pro.
Awesome job mate!
Wow. I have been bursting at the seams in excitement to talk about this course. We know by now that all great ideas are simple ones.
This idea is not just brilliant, but quite simple and to be honest, elegant.
And profit going to charity to boot?
Get on this, help the needy, use the information, and make some money.
Sounds like a great idea to me!
Super-simple method for finding hot leads in offline business. I mean really simple, easy to implement and easy to follow through. That's the first video in module 1. If you're an experienced marketer, you could stop right there and be good to go — and have another very effective leads-gen method to add to your client-getting arsenal. But that's the course's *starting* point… The course is 4 complete modules.
After you learn the basic Offline Snatcher Blueprint, Dez shares detailed strategies to less experienced marketers or simply marketers who want an over-the-shoulder view of someone who's already "doing it." How to avoid cold calling the business, how to approach, services to offer, outsourcing ideas… Some of this will be familiar but overall a very useful WSO. Information provided for US, UK, Australian and many other markets.
*there was a slight glitch on the background audio for a couple of the videos but in a brief chat with Dez he noted that he was already aware of it and would be uploading the fix momentarily. (Fantastic customer service, BTW.)
If you know me well, you'll be aware that I can be like a Rottweiler when it comes to solving challenges. Now this has obvious benefits but there are some hidden traps that can easily sabotage my progress unless I'm being self-aware.
I don't know if it's a "man thing" or just personality (probably a mixture of both), but sometimes the old stubborn, stiff-faced focus can dominate my energy when I'm trying to overcome something.
Let me share with you a story that happened yesterday and show you something that happened in me which was new, and I trust something that you can potentially learn from in your business (and life) – especially if you're prone to becoming stubbornly defiant in the face of challenges.
I was working on a coding challenge (one of my hats is in web development), and I tried my normal approach of changing something, then a different thing, then another different thing, one step at a time, to see if I could fix the problem.
Well, after 6 hours of on & off trying this approach, nothing worked.
I was frustrated, and angry with myself for having been so stubborn.
And then I sat back, and took the top down view that should've occurred five hours earlier.
I asked myself a question:
"Is there another way I can look at this problem that will help me to move things forward?"
A simple question.
I went downstairs (I work from home), had a cup if tea.
Only for 5 minutes.
And then the new approach came.
And it worked.
5 minutes to save 5 hours.
That's all it took.
There's a book with this phrase as its title (and I haven't read it yet):
Quick side story: I met a guy a couple of years back at a bar in Las Vegas (and we were both totally sober by the way: I'm tee-total & he drank water) whose company is a competitor of Facebook, and he told me that he attributed his success to "ASQ's": he just Asks Short Questions. Lots of them.
We stayed up 'til 4:30am in the morning, chatting, getting to know one another. All because he asked short questions.
So, what did I learn yesterday?
1) Don't be stubborn (ha!! – requires practice to break old habits & develop new & better ones)
2) If you are working on a problem or challenge, don't spend more than an hour on it. Some would say, and I'm working towards this: "If you can't see the solution to a problem after 15 minutes of solid effort, stop and begin to ask questions".
Sometimes the solution that emerge will involve others becoming involved in some way. Other times you will see a new strategy that was hitherto hidden.
3) Allow yourself time to stop, change your physical location. Talk to someone. Exercise. Just do something different.
If it's a small challenge, the solution might emerge that quickly.
At least, that's what happened yesterday.
Just after supper last night, I exhaled an enormous breath of exhilaration, turned to my wife and said:
"I feel like I've just climbed a mountain: it was hard work, but now I'm at the summit and the view is amazing."
Just one peak among the myriad we should all be aiming to climb.
So, if you're still shaking off the "stubborn man" mentality, I encourage you to begin a different mental process.
It will be challenging, and hard work (any change is). But the sense of reward will be significant, and will effect everything.
Start asking yourself questions. Give yourself time to look down on your challenges, and you will see change.
It's exciting and rewarding.
When someone posts a sales page claiming that they've got Facebook ads for near zero cost, I'm interested.
Now we both know there are scammers out there, but the *one* place on the internet where you can't scam people easily is the Warrior Forum.
Spence has produced is a superb product – and I'll be using it over the next few weeks in my Facebook marketing and advertising strategy.
Be warned though – $10 for an information product may deceive you into thinking the content is rubbish. You'd be sadly wrong if you were of that opinion, as the Warrior Forum special offer area is where you can get some incredible bargains.
And $0.00 Clicks from Facebook Ads?? Proof Inside – High Quality U.S. Traffic! is definitely one such bargain.
Once I've applied what's in the course, I'll do a follow-up post on this blog, and give you a sneak-peak into some the the strategies I'm using at the moment for lead generation and sales.
I’ve just been playing around with a very cool new search engine called Blekko.
It’s currently in Beta, but it has a lot of very cool functionality that, although you can find within Google if you try looking hard enough, it’s very easy to use.
Namely, Blekko (rhymes with Gekko??!) allows you to create your own slashtags and save them.
Also, you can delete searches as spam…something that is appearing within Google, I agree.
But one thing that Blekko gives you very easily that Google doesn’t is a very accessible and comprehensive analytics functionality, so you can look at inbound links, compate websites’ SEO, and so on.
Now again, Google does offer this via its own Analytics engine, and I agree with you if you tell me that Google’s offering is more detailed and flexible, but you can’t do market research so quickly, and much of the analytics intelligence isn’t easily available to the end user in the way that it is with Blekko.
So from my perspective as a marketer, I’m pretty much sold out on Blekko being a terrific marketing tool that I can use to help me when I’m seeking to understand marketing.
Probably the best thing I like about Blekko, and it’s something that is touted quite strongly in the demo video on the company’s website, is that being able to actively search for just certain categories is a snitch with the new search engine.
Foe example, if I want information about the Nokia N900, I can specify:
n900 /tech – for technology information
n900 /shopping – if I want to buy one
(Actually, I’m only guessing about the shopping slashtag, but it’s pretty certain that it’s going to be an option!).
In case you haven’t watch the video above, do make sure you do, as it overviews much of what I’ve written here.
So is Blekko yet another example of a technological game-changer? I think so.
What say you (comment below!)
Today I'm going to let you know all about one of the coolest pieces of software I have ever seen for managing and building an online business, called FusionHQ. It's perfect for non-techies and seasoned marketers because it requires no coding at all and is really simple to use.
I’ve just been on a leadership development teleseminar with Jay Kubassek, and during the call, he quoted the often-mentioned statement, attributed to Thomas Edison:
"Genius is 99% perspiration & 1% Inspiration".
Jay outlined the key difference between those who create sustainable success , and those who don’t. In other words, what is the missing 1% – the ‘X Factor’?
Jay has been working hard over the last 4 years to create an incredible community of entrepreneurs, which now includes members in over 190 countries around the globe. And it was only recently, he admits, that he really found that missing 1%, that intangible ingredient that lies behind his motivation to work so hard.
That missing 1%, the almost magic ingredient, is to be found only when you can answer the question to "What is your Why?, in other words, why do you do what you do…?
This goes deeper than cashflow, holidays or wealth, and is a fundamental question we each need to ask ourselves.
Watch me talk about this more, below:
Jawed Karim’s impressive geek skills also include being the main coder for Paypal’s real-time anti-fraud protection algorithms, so he’s a prety clever guy 🙂 & he now runs Youniversity Ventures.
So what was it that has made Jared SO incredibly successful? Well, you might think that’s a bit of a daft question, as we all already KNOW that the answers is "YouTube!".
But that’s the power of hindsight. Prior to 2005, YouTube didn’t exist.
And then Jared had a killer idea, which led to what he calls a killer application:
(this is taken from his October 2006 presentation here: http://www.youtube.com/user/jawed#p/u/3/nssfmTo7SZg )
Now, I would dare to go a little step further with this definition, and with my marketing hat on, say this:
Now, I’ve been riding the Web Waves for a couple of years now, and prior to that I was involved in some pretty geeky projects, so I reckon I know when I can spot such a killer application.
Last week, I came across one, after chatting to a new friend on Facebook. I was looking for a smarter alternative to Goto Webinars, that leveraged video as a core part of the offering, but also at an affordable price.
Well, rather than going into lots of details here (because this is about YouTube after all), I want you to find out yourself, by watching the video below.
If you are involved in any kind of marketing, and you recognise how leveraging video is key to being able to connect with clients and prospects, then sign up to get instant access to the free 22 minute presentation.
Here’s a recent example of a video embedded with Easy Video Player 2:
The actual video is on the Web Video Explosion website, which is running FusionHQ – a very powerful marketing platform which allows me to generate websites, sales funnels, "launch trees", affiliate campaigns, and much more.
I’ll be showing you more about both these tools over the next few weeks, giving you a "sneak peak" on how they are used, and how to build sales & marketing funnels using them both.
(PS The links to FusionHQ & Easy Video Player 2 are affiliate links, so I will get paid money if you subsequently buy either of the products through my links. I highly recommend both, and am using both on my online marketing).
