Who are the Dreamers who change the world? They are people who decide that they won’t let their circumstances decide whether or not they can fulfill their dreams. I started this page as a result of being inspired by the story of William Kamkwamba – and in hono(u)r of his example, he is the first person in my hall of fame. If he can break through, so can anyone, including you.

• William Kamkwamba – in 2002, a 14 year old Malawi who couldn’t afford school fees decided to do something useful with his time: he built a windmill. Later, he built another, improved version. It powered his radio, and later, he used it to recharge mobile phones. His story continues to this date, and beyond….
